Condolences

I want my memory of Wayne to be of the many happy occasions we shared with Barbara and Jim. It would be difficult to attend the services on Saturday. Maybe you could have lunch with me before the snow falls. My sincere sympathy to the Pinnau family. Love, Eleanor

Hello Pinnaus and Hanens, I am so sorry that Uncle Wayne has passed. Please know that we all are thinking of you and lifting you up in prayer daily. Nothing can fill the void left by someone so dearly loved. My heart is saddened that you are experiencing loss and heartache. Please accept our love, support, and condolences. I will NEVER forget how Uncle Wayne sent us all into a tizzy of extreme laughter at the Golden Oaks Olympics the year we have the jello/balloon relay race! The goal was to run down the field with a balloon filled with (I think liquefied jello- it never set up) and sit on the balloon to pop it! When it was Uncle Wayne's turn he ran down and plopped down on the balloon only to have it fall through the hole in the back of the chair! He retrieved the balloon and held it tighter as he, again, attempted to sit on it and pop it. Well we know how this silly story ends..He finally stomped on it with his foot! I think most of us just about wet our pants watching his hysterical actions. He was determined to get that son of a gun popped! What fond memories we all have of the great times shared between our families and the Bernhardts and Bittermans too. Good times and great friends! Love you all. Mary

Mr Pinnau was a very nice man who always had a smile and kind word for you. We were fortunate to know him and I will remember his care about others. He always asked me how are Donna and the boys. Prayers are with the extended Pinnau family and may God look over all.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was an enjoyable uncle & godfather. He sure got a kick out of teasing us kids. I was amazed how long he had season tickets to the Indy 500 & the same seats. My brother to this day remembers meeting Wayne there with my dad. It was a high school graduation present to go to the races for my brother. They had a good time. All of you are in my thoughts & prayers on this somber occasion. At least he is no longer suffering & is at peace.
