Condolences

Stan was a really good guy. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Always vibrant always with a smile on his face. He was always laughing and joking and having a good time. I’ve I’ve only seen him a couple times that I’ve come to sub in the bowling league since it left Brookfield bowl, nothing changed. My sincerest condolences.

To the Patek family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes, we still feel the loss of our loved ones. May you find comfort and hope in God’s promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, sickness, or pain, and we can see our lost loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.

My deepest sympathy to all family and friends. I just learned about Stan's passing from the DLS Magazine. I played baseball with "Freddie" (as we all called him) our senior year. He was always kind, friendly, and encouraging, particularly after my shoulder injury. I am very happy Stan has had such a wonderful life and is in the Softball HOF, as I have often thought about sharing my baseball exploits around the country with him. Now he knows. May peace be with all of Stan's loved one's, especially this holiday season. Blessings to you all! Dr. Drayton "Smoke" Patterson

Rick and I will forever miss Stan. We considered him our friend as well as our accountant. Rick and Stan got along very well and I always looked forward to our hour of power with Stan! I wish Chris and the family love and courage as they maneuver the world without his light and joy. He was special, and he made a difference in others lives. We wish we could have done something to help towards the end. However, he will always be loved by us. I wish Chris and the family many good moments remembering extraordinary things he would do and say!

Chris and all his family and many friends, My deepest sympathies and prayers for all. I am deeply saddened by this loss. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this man. He was such a radiant, kind, caring and dynamic personality. He was more than our accountant for me and my husband. I felt so very cared about . Many times when I called, he would personally answer that phone and was so caring and playful, laughing and joking...then offering advice and guidance. Stan was a rare human being.... simply a good good man. And brilliant. I knew he had my back. I'm sure he has us all covered now, from Heaven.

Stan was a strong man, leader and great husband. And Stan was strongest because of the woman behind him, Chris. That laugh, that confidence and pride he carried will be sorely missed. I learned yesterday that Stan Patek, my friend, passed away. And the world seems a little emptier; and my heart aches. Stan was my friend, but he was certainly much more. He was a son, a brother, a successful professional. He is in the Softball Hall of Fame. And he was husband a life partner to Chris. Stan energized any room he entered. He seemed to live life to the fullest. He was full of joy. Stan was also steadfast in his faith; and I’m sure that was a comfort to him. I see him as a role model on how to live a truly good life; how to be loving husband; how to treat others with respect. Stan was my friend and I miss his voice, his laugh, his guidance.
