Condolences
I am so sorry for Carolyn's loss. I was so happy to have her as a friend and I enjoyed our many years together as I taught Junior Achievement in her 8th Grade Classroom. Phillip was a great help to St. Louise with his IBM background and his many skills that he used to help with the 8th Grade Christmas Show.

Dear Mrs. Hammerscmitt and family, On behalf of my husband and family, please accept our condolences during this difficult time. He was a sweet man and served St. Louise well as a eucharistic minister. I received one of those special hugs recently and it won't be forgotten as he was the first person outside my family I hugged in over a year. May God be with you all and you're in our thoughts and prayers.

"Be Empty, be quiet. all things shoot up, blossom, and go back to the root, in peace and as they must. It is the way of rain: know it, in the light, eyes open, and be open-minded, fair, big natural, free and easy, everlasting all your life long." from: The Way of Rain (a reconstruction of the lost order of the Tao Te Ching by Larry Beckett) Louisa and I are so happy we were able to visit with you both at Noah's graduation. This is too sudden to comprehend. Our love is with you.

We are so sorry for your loss. Phil was unique in so many ways. His wry humor brought a smile or chuckle to me every day we spent together at One IBM Plaza. Many of us are evermore richly blessed to have known him.
