How difficult it is to learn the disappearance of our dear Mary-Alice. During our first trip to the United States, we were very proud and happy to be able to meet her and to reunite our two families for the first time: I know how much she was pleased to meet us, it was a joy sincerely shared. She is and will forever always be our American grandmother. Her kindness, and her humor will remain in our memories. When we will come back to Naperville, we will for sure come and pay tribute to her memory. In the meantime, know that candles are shining in her honor, on the other side of the ocean, in Alsace. From up there, in paradise, she will continue to watch over the whole family. We extend our deepest condolences.

Dear Nancy, I want to express my sympathy to you and your brothers on your mother's passing. She was such a wonderful and caring mother. I know you will miss her terribly, but you also have so many sweet memories to hold and treasure. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. May God bless and comfort you.

So sorry for your loss Nanc, her life looked full with so much family and friends always surrounding her. We all have a beginning date and we all have an ending date but it is what we do in the middle that counts and your mom was sure busy touching so many lives. One thing that has always given me peace at times like these is keeping something of their handwriting, cause that will never change and that will never go away.

I loved her sweet smile and soft voice. Her kindness seemed so real, so sincere, just listening to her talk was soothing. She appeared to be delicate but knowing the family she raised she had an inner strength that was the solid foundation for her beautiful family. She will be missed but always with us. Blessings to her family and to her soul.

Dear Sweet Nancy, I'm so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Thankfully you had her love and support for 94 long and wonderful years. She is with her husband and looking down fondly on her family. She's at peace and you should be proud of all you did for her. With Sympathy and friendship. Denise Ferut

It was with great sadness that we learned Mary-Alice’s departure. Our Alsatian family is happy to have been able to find her traces in Naperville. Today, Mary-Alice finds her deceased family in the spiritual world. The emptiness she will leave with you will not erase the happiness shared during all these years. A difficult challenge, but you know that your mother will always be with you. We are with you wholeheartedly and send you all our tenderness and sincere condolences.

My condolences to the entire Schneider family, I was lucky to grow up next door to Mary Alice throughout my entire childhood, she was such a kind and sweet lady... When my dad passed, she would check on my mom, and vice versa... sending love to all. What a full life she lived!

We are sorry for the loss of a great woman. She has raised all her children to be strong and confident. She was always kind in talk and always optimistic in view of life. She aged with grace. She will be missed. Mrs Schneider has left an imprint but her soul has gone home to meet up with family and friends. Peace

Mary Alice was a nurturing, loving, accepting lady, a great role model to everyone who knew her. She will be missed. We are grateful she lived into her 90s and did not suffer long. She was an inspiration to all her children, siblings, husband, in-laws and friends. Rest In Peace, my dear sister-in-law! Sel Erder Yackley, widow of Frances Xavier!
