Condolences
Marian was a very special lady. I loved hearing her stories of her kids and places she has been too. She had an heart of gold I met her when I became a bus driver. I enjoyed our Wednesday meeting at Burger King with other fellow drivers she will be greatly missed.

David and Marian were dear friends that I had the pleasure of sharing many memorable moments over the years. They will be missed and remembered in my prayers. Bless the family that did a great job as caretakers in recent years. BOB

To: Lindy,Bonnie & David and all of Marian's grandkids and great grandchildren---I offer you my deepest sympathy. Marian was such a good friend to me. I looked forward to going to Wilmington to visit her. I knew her wwhen she lived in Brookfield, too. be We were both bus drivers. She was always so independent until her health started failing. She never wanted to be a burden to anyone. I admire you, Lindy, for bringing her into your home. I wish all of you the best!!!

I am the daughter of Ernst Blum, a cousin of your mother. My grandfather was Julius Blum, a brother of your grandfather. I live in Germany and had for about 3 years contact with your aunt Rosemarie. Her daughter Cathy informed me, that your mother passed away. Rosemarie has been told about her. I never met you or your mother but I feel a familiar attachment and think of you and your family. So Sorry to hear of Mrs. Laurie's passing. Our families lived down the block from each other. She was a fine hard working German woman who always wanted the best for her family. She and Mr. Laurie had a passion for animals of all kinds...I always admired the HUGE fish tank in their basement and loved playing with their beautiful Samoyed Dog...still wish I was able to get one of the pups! I have a lot of happy memories of us kids growing up together on Forest Avenue. Our sincere condolences on the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
