Condolences
Deb, Kevin, I was so sorry and stunned to hear of this. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I hadn't seen Kerry in awhile (well, we haven't seen anybody in awhile during this pandemic) and I think maybe the last time was at Gregg's visitation. I was blessed enough to know Kerry for almost 50 years, since we were freshmen at Fenwick, and he had the one characteristic that, over time, I think I value most highly. He had a fantastic sense of humor, both easy to laugh and easy to make others laugh. And we had a lot of those times over the decades. I can think of no better compliment for a person than to say I was always happy to be in his company, even if those opportunities had thinned out over the years. I will truly miss him, and I hope you find peace, and laughter, in your memories and thoughts of him during this period. May he rest in peace, and my deepest sympathies to you and your family. DRI

I am sending condolences to Debbie, Kevin, and Irene (and other family members) at this sad time. Kerry and I were UWO friends, meeting in Nelson Hall in 1978. He was one of a few Flatlanders who lived in Nelson, and he never let us Wisconsin kids forget how superior he was. He was the first kid I ever knew who owned/wore a sports jersey (Blackhawks), he introduced us to "rap" music, he drove 100 mph on his Omro road trips, and he was kind. It was fun seeing him at various UWO reunions these past 40 years! I'll miss you, Kerry!

Debbie and Kevin, We are so very sorry for the loss of Kerry. We will miss seeing him in and out throughout the day. Didn't matter if we saw him 50 times that day, it was as if it was the first time. Always saying "Hi" and asking how we're doing or if we wanted something during one of his McDonald's runs. A True gentleman and just really cool guy. Manie will especially miss him razzing him about the White Sox and talking sports. You guys are wonderful neighbors, and we're always here for you and Kevin. Kerry, may you rest in peace. You will forever be missed by us.

Debbie!! How I will miss Kerry!! From our college days at UWO to all the gatherings we have been able to do. Brewers/Cub games, Milwaukee trips, seeing the Packers practice, “The Bears still Suck!”, Bay Beach, and coming to Chicago to spend time with you. Speeding in his car! The memories go on and on. Debbie, so very sorry to hear about Kerry. He will always be remembered by me as KP and the Sunshine Band A name from Nelson Hall. When I was visiting sister Jean at Nelson Hall, Kerry took me for a ride to Omro. Fastest ride on Highway 21 I ever took!

One of the funnest guys I ever had the pleasure to meet and spend the 4 happiest years of my life with you at UWZERO. From you singing “ Fiddler on the roof” at 2 am in the morning or Blasting Black Sabbath “Ironman” to wake up the whole dorm, your humor never went unnoticed! You were the biggest JAG, but I loved you for it ! It wouldn’t be appropriate without one final........... CMONNNN RIP KERRY
