Condolences

Kathleen and I were dear friends from the moment I met her at Crispus Attucks School in Chicago. She had a curious mind and we enjoyed many hours discussing Teilhard Chardin and memorizing the location and capitols of each state in the nation. She was my guiding light as a teacher. Kathleen had an almost magical touch when it came to teaching. Her students recognized her caring and efforts and treated her with respect. That relationship was one that enriched all. She loved musicals and we would trade off events - musicals for Werner Herzog movies. One thing we agreed on wholeheartedly was Charles Dickens. We both loved the Xmas windows on State street celebrating Scrooge and enjoyed to the fullest the Goodman Theater's presentation of The Christmas Carol. Above all she liked to quote David Copperfield-" whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life"...Kathleen was the hero of her own life.

Kathleen's 'essence' cannot be captured in words. Her spirit brought light & love to all who knew her. She was one of the toughest people I ever knew! Thankfully her pain is over. I'm so grateful I had her in my life!

To the Family of Kathleen Jackson, Kathleen and I were neighbors for nineteen years. She was a very kind and caring person. Even though she had been going through her own personal medical issues, I will always be forever grateful to Kathleen the day she showed up to my husband's Celebration of Life Service. I know she was in pain, but she never showed it. She showed up with a smile on her face to support our family during our time of loss. Kathleen, I will miss your friendly face and our nice conversations. You are finally free of pain and suffering. I am sure Jack and Jackson were waiting to walk you home to Heaven with our Lord. My heartfelt prayers and condolences are with Kathleen's family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace. With Heartfelt Sympathies, Lori Bullio & Family
