Condolences
The world was a better place from having JJoan in it. What a great neighbor she was! It was always a welcome sight seeing her walking around our corner. She freely offered gardening tips in an attempt to help my widowed Dad who wanted to keep Mom's flowers going. Joan was a treasure and will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, Tom, and send our love to you and your family. She was a dear woman and I remember meeting her in Montana at your wedding and Chicago with the Jesuits. That was a fun time. thinking of you with love, Doug and Mary Kay

My beautiful, caring, woman of faith, Joan, friend, I will miss our phone visits. Your generous offering of a variety of soups started our friendship which included our visits in person in La Grange Park. But now, your limitations, your sufferings are over and I can visit you in spirit any time, anywhere. I have been and feel blessed that our visits can continue. Love you, Joan. Lee

Joan was a great friend to my mother, and then when my mother passed away, Joan became a great friend to me. I will miss her intellect, her energy, her faith, her strength of character, her independent nature, and her friendship. I was lucky to know her as long as I did; but as with every good friend, it is never long enough. Rest In peace Joan and thank you for everything.

You have been missed dearly by all your friends and neighbors in LaGrange Park. We all admired your beautiful landscaping. It was always a sign of spring for everyone when we saw all your flowers popping up. We always loved your Christmas cookies. We missed seeing you walk around the neighborhood with your cute pink baseball cap on. We hope your heaven is peaceful, filled with beautiful flowers, and soft summer breezes. You are an inspiration and will be missed!
