We never met Jim, but know he must have been a wonderful man, for he and his lovely wife Sandy raised the best son-in-law we could have ever asked for. We're sorry we missed the opportunity to meet Jim, but just knowing that he was surrounded by love ones in the end is comforting. Sharon and Bill Walker

Jim was my next door neighbor growing up on Coyle Avenue. He was a very good softball player, runner and card player. He drank Cherry Kiafa with Pepsi, smoked Hava Tampa Jewels. He loved the horses, the White Sox and fishing. Many times we would go down to the Lake to catch perch, often successfully. He was outspoken but in a witty way. He was a good friend, a major figure in my life. I’m sorry to lose him. Oh, and then there were the Turkey Bowls. That’s another story.
