Condolences
I was one of Jim’s numerous roommates at Sanford, and he was a dear friend with whom I had lost touch. It was a shock, when I went on line to see if modern technology could link us again, to learn that he had passed away, and ten years ago!! Jim and I had many adventures, drove together across Texas, tried to sell CutCo knives together, saw John Mayall at the Fillmore West together, on and on. The world is not a better place for his passing. His laugh and smile were wonderful. My condolences to his loved ones, Geoffrey Wiggin

When looking through the internet for past friends, I came across this obituary for Jim -- so shocking. Jim and I dated for a while our final year at Stanford, and I remember with great fondness (if not success!) his trying to teach me to make pierogis. The picture above shows his great smile and amused glance -- the world is poorer for his passing, and I send my condolences to those loved ones who survive him. With sympathy, Stephanie Elwell Mulroony

Barbara, the loss of Jim is a great one for you. Never easy to lose a family member; you and Jim were very close. It was always fun to see him when he visited Chicago. Jim will forever be part of our conversations. We love you lots. Hugs, Mary and Paul Kremkau
