Hugh Edward McCabe

Hugh Edward McCabe, age 88 of LaGrange Park, formerly of Naperville and Rolling Meadows. Beloved husband of the late Susan McCabe, nee Bernard. Devoted father of Ann (Brian) Stiltner and Margaret (James) De Lauriea; loving grandfather of Brendan Stiltner, Owen De Lauriea, Grace Stiltner, Nathan De Lauriea and Audrey De Lauriea; brother of the late John (Catherine) McCabe.

Hugh was very proud of being a graduate of Loyola Academy and Loyola University. While having a deep rooted love for cars, he stayed current with the Wall Street Journal and loved to read at any opportunity.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 8:15 A.M. to 9:15 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral will begin after visitation at 9:15 A.M. and process to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange for a 10 A.M. Mass.

Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
