Condolences

Greg helped our son James toward earning his Eagle Rank. The world needs more people like Greg. He gave selflessly his time and efforts to help others, and has been an integral part of helping countless area young scouts navigate the long path to Eagle. I regret not having the chance to thank him. Our condolences to Greg's family. The Aldrich Family

Condolences on your loss. Greg was a neighbor, friend, and fellow scout leader. I counted on Greg more times than I can count on all three of these relationships. He may be in only person in my life that has given more to me than I was able to give in return. I carry the names of 71 Eagle Scouts that earned the rank while I was a leader at Troop 12. Greg played a role in the success of each of them in addition to the countless scouts at Troop 3 and other troops in the council and beyond. Greg will hold my admiration forever.

I worked with him at the Western Springs Pool with Max Armer. I remember him being a very loyal guy. He will be missed around town.

From this distance it is hard to think that our sweet little ring bearer of over 50 years ago has gone from our presence. Rest In Peace our faithful little witness.

So sorry to hear of Greg's sudden passing. May God comfort his family during this challenging time. Greg was a huge blessing to my family as he assisted my mother with her household repairs and lawn care for several years.

Greg helped my mother Carol on Howard St many times. I was honored to have met him once. A very likeable man. May God wipe the tears of the pains of this world from his eyes. Our condolences to his family. I know my mother speaks very fondly of him.

Dennis, Peggy, Jennifer, Karen, & Peter, So many of my childhood memories are connected to Greg and our homes on Lawn. Greg helped me get my paper route, collect baseball cards, do homemade science experiments, attempt to dig tunnels, build a snow slide, and play many games in our backyards. He was a faithful childhood friend. I believe that I learned more from him than perhaps I realize. May God bless you all and give you His peace and love in Jesus.

I knew Greg through the Western Springs Business Association. Greg was always a kind and helpful guy, who volunteered countless hours towards the association and never wanted any mention of it. My thoughts, prayers and condolences to your family on Greg’s passing
