My heart goes out to all of the family. It is hard to loose one’s Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Friend. Since I had the privilege of being the best friend of one of her nieces, Laura Schelhammer, I have many fond and fun loving memories of Trudy from Henderson Street in Chicago. May God comfort and bring to mind good and loving memories to bring you comfort as you heal from your great loss. In sympathy and love, Chris Seger (Chovanec)

My heart ❤️ is sad growing up on Henderson was just the best! Trudy and her family were a big part of my younger years ,she literally was my second mom! But she was a mom to many, I was just lucky to be one of them Friday after school I would grab my pillow and head down the street ,the sleepover was on! Movies popcorn games ect. Her laugh was boisterous, and she was always good for a big hug and kiss

My most deepest condolences to each of you. I am sorry that we can not celebrate Trudy how she should be celebrated. I can still hear her yelling for each of you especially Johnny!! May she rest with angels
