George S. Wrobel, age 71 of LaGrange Park. Army Veteran. Beloved ex husband and mother of his children Catherine Wrobel; loving father of Linda Wrobel, Kimberly (Roberto) Borias, Samantha Wrobel and Steven (Kathleen) Wrobel, fond grandfather of Jessica Irizarry, Jesse (Liliana) Naba, Alex Borias, Justin Naba and Lucas Wrobel; son of the late Gerhart Wrobel and the late Helena Wrobel, nee Jarmosek; brother of Sophie Barcy, Agnes Finnegan, Renee Wrobel and the late Zygmund Wrobel, Frank Wrobel, Richard Wrobel, Joseph Wrobel, Carol Wrobel and Helen Dillon; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M and Monday, March 21, 2022 10:30 A.M. to time of Service at 11:00 A.M., at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Funeral Service 11:00 A.M.

Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL

George was a volunteer at Hines VA hospital and active with St. Leonard’s Cub Scout Troop 32 for many years.
