Gary E. Linka

Pat -- I am stunned to read of Gary's passing. I was driving south on I294 today & noticed a billboard advertising St. Lucia. I remembered Gary loving his trips there with you. I decided to "google" him and that's how I learned the sad news. I worked with Gary in Operational Budgets at Baxter. That company never had a more dedicated employee! And I agree with an earlier poster that you and "little larry" were always foremost in his mind. He was so kind. I am heartily sorry for your loss.

Patricia and Family. We are so sorry to hear of Gary's death. It's been many years since we have spoken to your family, but we do fondly remember our times at St. Louise. There are no words of comfort that can really express our thoughts. You have our deepest sympathy. We can only add that you should cherish the good and happy memories, as they can strengthen your heart and lessen your sorrow. People believe that time heals the sorrow, but it's really love that heals, that last forever and is never forgotten. We hope that 2016 will be the beginning of healing to your heart and your family. Larry and Patricia, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your father was such a gentle, encouraging, and loving person. I am so blessed to have learned and shared so much with him over the years. Pat and family, Gary was a great friend throughout our years together at St. Joe's and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. It's been many years since we spoke, though interestingly, I thought of Gary a few weeks ago as I drove by his old home on First Avenue and wondered about him. My thoughts and prayers go with you and yours.

I am sad to say I lost a friend, I worked with Gary for over 15 years of my life. Work was work but I did like how he discussed his family and how happy he was during the ups and downs of family life. I will miss my friend and hope to see him again.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Gary. We were great friends during high school, often double dating or triple dating with Tom Landa. I know the angels welcome you joyfully in heaven, I pray for those who remain here with the huge hole in our hearts left from his passing. Gary was a true friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him. I hope you were all able to say your goodbyes and that he died peacefully.

Hello - I worked for Gary in Fenwal Finance for a few years and he was the nicest person to work for and with. His humor was infectious and all he talked about was his son and was always planning and thinking about providing for his family. We used to discuss 401 strategies and investing.
