We are saddened to lose a beloved cousin. I attended Elva & Les' wedding at the age of ten years. I had never seen so many attendants and it was such a pretty event. The photographer was great and captured very nice pictures of my parents and relatives which I cherish to this day. My sister Wilma was one of the attendants. Elva & Les traveled most summers to Iowa to visit her Aunt Minnie & Uncle Edmund S. Poppe's family & extended family. Elva's brother Norman & wife Jeannette also visited Iowa. In about 1948 their trip was in a red 1947? Chevrolet convertible. How can I forget an event like that? Wilbur F. H. Poppe
