Craig, time still passes here, but the photo of us playing hockey feels like it is still January 1969. You are missed.

Brian & Denise, Kevin & Family- My sympathies go out to you. I will cherish all the memories and the times spent with Craig. I loved going to bbq’s at his house & his love for pinball! I’m glad we got to celebrate one last holiday together for St. Patrick’s day at Irish times. Craig was such a kind and gentle soul and he will be deeply missed ❤️

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Craig's family, friends and loved ones. Craig had to be a wonderful man. I never got the honor to meet him. But,I know he had to be a wonderful man, because he left behind such a wonderful son,Brian. Brian is my much loved, beloved son in law;who is married to my daughter, Denise. Im shure,Craig's in Heaven, talking with Denise's dad,Dennis;about model trains& pinball:because they both loved them! Heaven just received another sweet soul,Craig;who was much loved by his family&friends:where Love is,God is...& Where God is,Jesus Christ is...&Where Jesus Christ is...so are all those, who Loved much...For Heaven is a place of Love...

Craig: We met through the Little League back in 1962 or 1963, the season you had the appendicitis attack. You were physically and mentally tough. You had a demanding Paper route, always had a job, keeping your head on straight. You went through a lot with diabetes. The nights at the Corral when you would suddenly begin feeling dizzy, and I’d run and get you a Coke so your sugar level could come back up to the time we were 1,000 feet in the air, taking a flying lesson. You and I were in the back seat while Chris Pastwa was co-piloting, and it was that time of day. You gave yourself an insulin injection, which kind of shocked the instructor who offered to land, but you said, “Don’t worry, I do this all the time.” And you did. We played baseball and swam every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day; Walked to Downtown LaGrange going to Pearson’s and Wards, where they charged 11 cents less for a 45rpm. And the soda counter at Kresge’s, or maybe Cock Robin. We switched to hockey once it was cold and launched our model rockets year around. I will never forget the rocket you built and launched before we knew about cutting holes in the parachutes to speed their landing. It went higher than any rocket to date, and then the wind took it. We were behind my house, and it finally landed north of Ogden Avenue, which was one hell of a long run. We tried to start a band, and you brought your guitar and amp to my basement. But we were beset with technical issues as we had no idea about the concept of “grounding” and the role it played with our amps. I have so many memories of you and playing pool in your basement—a basement where the walls were covered with your dad’s WW II stuff and photos. And, of course, your dad always greeted me with, “Hey, if it isn’t Wopagenie!” I really liked your dad. And now you are with him. Have fun, Craig

Craig - my high school buddy, fellow adventurer to the Bahamas, wing man (Don't Ruin It, Hunh???) - I am at a loss for words, but remain so thankful for our many experiences with Jim & Dave & Bob! Damn that was a wild ride! Kathy and I had a wonderful time visiting you on those few occasions we were back in Chicago-land and deeply regret you never were able to visit us in Idaho. See you on the flip side, brother.

Craig: I learned of your illness almost too late. I thank God I could have a few words with you and relate how much I have always thought of you and love you. A poster of you, me, Chris, Mike, Jeff and Steve posing in our hockey outfits at Danford Road Stadium sits on my office wall and I look at it every single day. I always admired your personal strength and self-discipline. And your Dodge Charger too! You are missed, my friend. You are missed! Marc
