I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Pat's passing. I saw him a few years ago at Aunt Sylvia's birthday party and he reminded me so much of my dad (Gus). It was great seeing him. Know that he is in peace now. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Love Kathy (Wood)

To the Wood family, So sorry to hear about your loss. Pat was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was always helpful, caring and "watched out" for the single gal on the block. I always enjoyed talking to him as he strolled around the block. He will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Mary (506 Newberry)

Dear Wood Family, Just wanted to say how sorry we are for the loss of your father. I only met him a few times when they visited Gary and Connie. Pat was just full of the Irish humor. We will pray for his soul and also pray for your family. Dear God, Please put your arms around this family and help them through this sorrowful time. Love to all Karen and Pat

A Fireman's Prayer When I am called to duty, God, wherever flames may rage. Give me strength to save some life whatever be it's age. Help me to embrace a child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me. To guard my every neighbor and protect his property. And if according to my fate, I am to lose my life, Please bless with your protecting hand my children and wife. I'll miss you Patrick, thanks for helping my big sister raise me and influencing me to this great profession. When you see Mike have a couple extras.
