Condolences

You will be missed so much Aunt Carolyn. You were the kindest most loving person I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and join your family when I married Scott. There was never a doubt as to how much you welcomed me with open arms and loved me with him and I will always be grateful for knowing you. I’m happy I got to spend that one on one time with you last year. I will always think of you when I watched White Collar (I have yet to finish it as it was not as enjoyable as watching with you) but I’m going to finish it. Say hi to Scott, I miss him so much. Love you always, Liz

I met Carolyn pre-covid as we walked in the pool at the fitness center 3 days each week. She was delightful and welcoming. The one thing I know is that she loved her family and was so very proud of them. We heard many, many stories of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by many and it was a joy to know her.

Dear Beth, Tom, Tim, Rizalina, Doug, Emmanuelle, Amy & John, We are extremely sorry that Gigi and I could not attend the services for your dear mother, Carolyn. We realize that the best way to show you all how much we thought of your Mom is by being there for all of you at this time. We can't even tell you how much we looked up to both your Mom and Dad. Whenever we thought about how generous, thoughtful and kind they were, it just brings smiles to our faces. Keene walked by your house numerous times hoping to run into Carolyn so Keene could tell her how much we appreciated how they lived their lives. What a shining example of parenting! What we saw, was the most kind and unselfish people we ever met. God Bless her and Phil, and God Bless each of you and your families. Our prayers are with all of you. Love, Keene & Gigi Palmer

I am very sorry for your loss. I met Carolyn and Phil when I was a Math and Science teacher at St. Louise. She was a good and helpful friend that will be missed.

I’m so sorry guys. But all I gotta do is think that now Gram, aunt Carolyn, uncle Phil, nanny Pat and my mom are all together now playing trivial pursuit and watching young Frankenstein like we used to do years ago! Love and miss you loads. Tracy

Dear Hammerschmitt family: I'm so sorry for your loss. Carolyn was a pillar of the St. Louise community in so many ways. She was a great teacher to have and did touch so many lives. I'll be forever grateful the times she asked for and trusted me to take the 8th graders on their boat trips and welcoming my husband to join us. She'll be missed. She is now joined again with her husband and is at peace. May God be with all of you during this time and always.
