Carol A. Crosby, nee Close

Our prayers are with you at this time of sorrow, how wonderful it will be when the words found in the bible at John 5:28 & 29 are fulfilled "All those in the memorial tomb (Gods memory)will hear Jesus voice and come out" God promises families will be reunited with their loved ones.

I am so sorry to read that your mom passed away recently. I met Carol in 1969 when Mike and I moved to Brookfield. She was the Welcome Wagon Lady and we became good friends. We were involved in the Brookfield Newcomers Club for several years and she even recruited me to welcome newcomers. I watched the boys grow up over the years. She was "Aunt Carol" to our daughter Michele. We kept in touch for many years until we retired to Florida in 2002. I have so many fond memories of her. She was a wonderful person and friend. I knew so many of you through Carol and I know she will be missed.

I offer my family's deepest sympathy to my dear friend, Lisa Close McIntosh, her parents Jim and Loretta Close, and her exteneded family. I have heard Carol's name connected to so many stories over the past 28 years. I know how important family is for them, and I feel I have benefitted from Carol's words of wisdom over the years. They are so fortunate to have had her in their lives, and she will continue to live on in their hearts, and in mine. With love, Jennifer

Dear Carol my heart goes out to your sons, brothers and all the family. We shared many good times together. I wish there could have been more. I always looked up to you as the leader of all the cousins. We all love you and will miss you and will never forget. You are with the best in heaven now and pain free.
