There are two special qualities that stand out to me about Bruce: First, he believed in people. He believed in me. And he believed in many others. This belief led him to invest in people, not by trying to control them, but by giving them an opportunity to fly—to discover who they were and to allow them to be their best and give their best. Through this, Bruce positively impacted my life. Second, Bruce cared about people who didn’t have every advantage that he had. Although I heard this from his heart many times, there is one example that demonstrates this so clearly: a young man with a physical limitation came to a job fair at one of our locations and Bruce instantly wanted to hire him. He told us to find something for him to do. I am still in contact with that man, and working for M. Block is one of the highlights of his life because someone gave him a chance. I truly enjoyed working with and especially traveling with Bruce—he was a lot of fun! More than my boss, I considered Bruce to be my friend, and I have many fond memories of our time together.

Jane, I am so sorry to hear about Bruce’s passing. My heart goes out to you, the boys and Inga. I am grateful that he is no longer suffering. I know how hard it was for you to see his heath decline like that. Sending you love and prayers of comfort. With much love, Brenda and Dave

Hi, I had the opportunity to work with Bruce on the Tennis Court a few years ago and we had such a good time. He was such a great athlete. He would always say I hear ya when I would tell him nice shot he will be missed. I know he was a great person And I sent all my respect to all of his family Cari
