Obituary
Bruce T. Levy, age 71, of Oak Brook, formerly of Glencoe, IL . Bruce passed away at home, on December 31, 2023 in Oak Brook IL. He had been diagnosed several years ago with frontotemporal lobe dementia. Beloved husband of Jane Levy, nee Susong; devoted father of Dustin (Cianan Lesley) Levy and Daniel Susong Levy; brother of Peter Levy; preceded in death by his parents Bennett and Marilyn Levy.
Bruce was the CEO and President of M. Block and Sons. Because of his leadership and the personal risk Bruce undertook he was able to enhance many peoples lives and give them financial security. “He was an amazing boss, and made an impact on my life” was a remark repeatedly made by those who worked so closely with him.
Bruce was a graduate of Boston University and De Paul Law School.
A Celebration of Bruce’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Family’s residence in Hinsdale.
