Wendy M. Albanese, nee Meisner, age 48 of Woodridge, formerly of North Riverside. Daughter of the late Richard and the late Phyllis Meisner. Beloved mother of Gabriella Albanese and Angelina Albanese; dear sister of Patricia (Donald) Markus and Linda Gorgan; dear aunt of Amy (Richard) Bain, Brittany (Eric) Campbell, Kellie (Joseph) Williams, Michelle (Christopher) Kulawiak, Donald (Brittany) Markus, Jr., Marisa Markus, Samantha Gorgan, Keri Gorgan, Frank Holdman and John Holdman; great aunt of Richard Bain III, Natalee Campbell, Olivia Bain, Audrey Bain, Emma Williams, Madelyn Williams and James Campbell; niece and cousin of many. Wendy was a 1993 Graduate of Riverside Brookfield High School and was a respiratory therapist for Hinsdale Hospital and previously worked for South Suburban Hospital.
Visitation Monday, September 11, 2023 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10:30 A.M. to time of Service 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd. 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Tuesday 11 A.M.
Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

To Wendy’s family including her 2 daughters you have my deepest sympathies. I knew Wendy through work and she was always the sweetest, kindest person , always willing to help you or just lend a sympathetic ear. She shall be missed terribly . You are in my thoughts and prayers .
My Deepest condolences to Wendy’s family and especially her two daughters, my wife and I were neighbors for a long time and thought of Wendy as part of our family as well as Patty Linda and Megan. Prayers for the whole family.
