Vernon H. Witt, age 96, of Westchester. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine M. Witt, nee Zavesky; loving father of Susan M. Arnold; dear brother of the late Harold Witt, Hazel (Fred) Welfare, Ethel (George) Schmidt, Melva (George) Ligmanowski and Ted (LaVerne) Witt; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Monday, August 28, 2023, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd. 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. Lying in state, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, 9:30 A.M. to time of Service 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2317 Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162.
Internment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn.
