Steven Charles Sterba, age 68 of Willowbrook. Beloved husband of Barbara Sterba, nee Lange; son of Elaine Sterba, nee Fink and the late George Sterba; brother of Warren (Wanda) Sterba; brother-in-law of Kathleen (David) Albers; uncle of April, Samantha and Naomi Sterba, Daniel (April) Albers and Kristin Albers; nephew of Agnes Pajer; cousin of many. Steven was actively involved in a number of area orchestras and served as an orchestra director at Addison Trail Middle School, Addison, Hinsdale Central Township High School, Hinsdale and La Grange Highlands Elementary and Middle School, La Grange Highlands.

Visitation Friday, October 19, 2018 from 12:30 P.M. to Time of Service 1:30 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Interment Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Stickney.
