Sharon G. Simpson, nee Meyer, age 75 of Wood Dale. Beloved wife of the late Steve Simpson; fond mother of Steve (Tiffany) Simpson and Amy Lynn (Bradley) Newlan; dear sister of Judy (Don) Hockemeyer and Donald (Sue) Meyer; aunt of Debbie (Jim) Barker; extended family and dear friend of many.

Visitation and in person services are being reserved for immediate family due to Covid at this time. All are invited to attend the service remotely which will be streamed on Friday, September 18, 2020, 11 A.M. at

Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Forest Park.

    I did Sherries hair for a long while, i got to know her on a personal level, she talked about her kids, her husband and her sister and brother in law.

    I am so say to hear about Sherrie. She was my Meyer cousin. I have fond memories of coming to her house when I was young and she and Judy would let me go through their junk drawer and chose something. She was my idle. The last time I saw her, we had lunch with cousin Denise, me, Judy and Sherrie. We talked and laughed for hours.
