Roger Pawlowski

Roger Pawlowski, age 85, of Clarendon Hills. Roger was raised in Cicero, IL and attended Morton High School. After high school, he worked various jobs until he landed a job at O.K. Papers in Franklin Park as a truck driver. He quickly moved into a sales position and worked there for the next 30 years until the company was sold to North American Paper Company, where he worked for the last few years before retiring. Roger played hockey as a young man in recreational leagues and loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting and golf. He was always looking forward to his next trip to the North Woods of Wisconsin where he and the family vacationed for decades. Roger was an avid fan of Chicago sports, especially the White Sox, and had many stories about watching them play at old Comiskey Park. He was also a supporter of the Hinsdale Central football and boys basketball teams and attended many of their games over the years. A devout Catholic, Roger rarely missed Mass and was a Eucharistic Adoration volunteer at Notre Dame Church. Married for 53 years, he was a devoted husband to Judie, a doting father to Jill and the most loving grandfather. Roger will be remembered for his love of family, kind heart and infectious laugh.

Visitation Monday, May 24, 2021 from 10 A.M. to time of Mass 11 A.M. at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Avenue, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514.

Interment Private Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
