Obituary
Robert “Bob” Wayne Porak was born December 30, 1947 and passed away on July 17, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Vivian Kandlik and Adolf Porak, and survived by his sister Marlene (Randy), brother Wesley (Pat), and nephews Brett, Brandon, Eric, Christopher, and Dustin. Bob graduated from Western Illinois University (1970) with a degree in Philosophy and later attended Eden Theological Seminary. He remained interested in philosophy his entire life and dedicated much of his time to writing journal entries, poetry, and fiction. Bob had a deep appreciation for classical music, the fine arts, and the beauty of nature. In his early years, he enjoyed playing baseball, fishing, and playing the accordion.
