American FlagRaymond H. Vogt, 90 years young of Encinitas, California, formerly of La Grange Park; WWII Veteran of the Army gently passed away at home on 11/16/2012. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jane Vogt, nee Bruno; loving father of Joan (John) Norman and Jean (Stuart) Triolo; dear “Grand PaPa” of Tracy Norman and Emily Norman; and fond brother-in-law of Sarah Gross. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by family kitty cats Bella, Sir Bleu and Tiger. Visitation Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday, November 26, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Monday 11 A.M. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. Raymond was a life member of the North Riverside VFW # 6869. With the cherished late Mary Jane, Ray was a hard working champion for VFW events, devoted volunteer for 17 years to the Comboni Missionaries, and active supporter to the Telephone Pioneers of America. Ray loved the Chicago Cubs and is waiting from the heavens for that elusive world series win.
