Beloved husband of 68 years to the late MaryAnne Vavra, nee Bilek; fond father of Thomas Vavra, Patricia (Brian) Duffy, Barbara (Remo) Fantozzi and Debra (Robert) Wysocki; dear grandfather “Pa” of Brian (Caitlin) Wysocki, Brad (Lindsay) Wysocki and Bree Wysocki; brother of Lorraine (Allen) Brown; brother-in-law of the late Norman (Agnes) Bilek and Eleanor (the late George) Balla; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, September 25, 2016, 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Monday, September 26, 2016, 9 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL.60513.
