Condolences

Bill and I were like brothers through HS and after my college and his navy service in the mid 60's.I taught in Oswego and Bill worked in LaGrange Park and Brookfield. We both worked in the summer for the Village of LaG. Park. My greatest memory is of both of us in the '46 flatbed truck on the hill on Harding Av. I was driving and we both used our hands and feet to get the truck going when the light turned green. We jumped forward some and the truck stalled. We were in front of a LaG. Park fire truck. We finally made it up the hill and over LaGrange Rd. You and I were best buddies I'll never forget you.

Maureen, Vic, Vicki, Pam and I would like to offer you and your family, our deepest sympathy on the passing of Bill. We have fond memories of all the times our families were together at LPFD family events, when Bill, Vic and the rest of the guys weren't fighting fires. Bill is now reunited with his brother, Gary, who died so young over in Vietnam. Jan , Vic, Vicki and Pam Martinka

Maureen, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Bill was a big help to me when I got hired at the DPW. He showed me every aspect of the water department and I have many good memories of working with him. He was a lot of fun to be around and a great guy to know. May God bless Bill.
