Condolences

Dad - 10 years ago you left us to rejoice in life everlasting with our Lord. I miss you every day and love you. You would have lived to know your two great grandchildren Owen Sylvester (your namesake) and Lana Lucille. Owen has your chin and smarts and Lana has your spirit and laugh. Until we meet again…. Love you.

Dear Darice, It seems so unreal to see your dad so alive in that photo with all of his accomplishments listed. Have been keeping you and your mom in prayer since I heard. Wish I could be there on the 18th. Hope your local supporters will comfort you as well as they can. May the choirs of angels come to greet him and speed him to paradise! Love, Lin

Dear Phyllis and Darice: I was very sorry to hear of Syl's passing, but I know that you are content in knowing that he lived a full, productive, and loving life. He was a great influence on me since I got to know him in the early 2000s, and I will always appreciate the leadership advice he gave me on many occasions. I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend the memorial service, but please know that you will be in my thoughts that day.

Syl was a dear fiend for 45 years, and I am sure he is now with God. He gave me the first promotion of my career, and I will never forget the example that he set for me and many others. Syl was a man of honor and conviction. He was a kind man, and opioniated in a very good way. Syl had high standards and would not sway from them. I will miss him, but he will not be far from my thoughts and from my wife Anne's. He was a role model for me, and he will always be in our minds as well as in Gods hands fot eternity.

Uncle Syl will always be remembered as a very warm and decent man who was always so welcoming and gracious. As a kid, I enjoyed going to the Lulinski home on New Year's day, seeing all the Christmas decorations (especially the giant Santa Claus), watching the college bowl games on a console TV (back in the day), then going down to the basement to play all the big table games that most people did not have in their house. Today, I am proud to be a faculty member at the university where he and Aunt Phyllis (and my grandfather, Sam Moss) attended pharmacy school, and will always remember Uncle Syl whenever I gaze down on the St. Ignatius High School campus from University Hall. He will be missed by all.

Go Chicago Cubs! Every game the Cubs play I know Unc will be with me. And when that one day happens that the Cubs will be in the World Series he will again be by my side

Syl's passing is a great loss to his family and all who knew and loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with Phyllis, Darice and Jeff at this difficult time. May his memory be a blessing to all.
