My deepest condolences to Sal's family and all who knew him. My heart just broke hearing the news of his passing. What a kind, genuine, personable and talented man. RIP Sal. You sure were one of the good guys!

Sal was a great friend ... always ready with a joke or a story. More than once his fun-loving nature made my band's night more memorable. And, as Elliot mentioned Rockin' Santa was a legend on its own. There we saw Sal was not only an excellent guitarist, but had an amazing musical sense of humor. We'll miss him.

The news of Sal’s passing leaves a sadness and emptiness. We will miss Sal as both a friend and musician. As a guitarist, he was among the best. His jokes and stories were priceless, and Rockin Santa left a legacy all it’s own. Our condolences to his family and many friends. Terry & Elliot

I’ve had some really good conversations, a few good jokes, and played some great music with Sal. No pretense, a sincere spirit. Sal was a wonderful guy to know, and his company will be missed by many of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. ❤️

to sharon, laura, christine and david...words will never express my sorrow for the loss of not just my guitar guy, but there were times when sal was my best friend. dan, ed, and sal were my favorite band of all time....the three of us picked up sal as the missing peice of a puzzle came together. we were all very close through hard times and sal was so uplifting every day. you be sure to take care through all this, sharon. our thoughts and prayers go out to you forever. john

I didn't know Sal for Very long but I Loved him right away! We just had lunch together a week ago and Ill forever remember our Great conversation! Peace and Love to his Family!

We lost another great one . . . Sal Salvato passed away this morning. Thanks Sal for helping us launch The Meteors in 2006 with original lineup (Ron Miller, Tony Bicek, Randy Zaccard, & Tom Rychter). We played several hundred gigs together as The Meteors from 2006 - 2013. Sal will be truly missed by everyone that knew him, performed with him, or saw him perform live ! Condolences to his family, Charise, his many band mates (Past & Present) friends, and fans. RIP Sal
