Our sincere condolences to the family and close loved ones of Rich. We shared the love of the lake and boating with him. So many cherished memories with him. We could not ask for a better neighbor or friend. We will always remember the times your brought us all together to share a laugh, a story, and a beer with an orange slice in the glass. We love you. Rest In Peace my friend. Baja on!

I have great memories of the entire Roleck family from “up at the lake”. My parents were blessed to have such great friends with Noreen and Rich.

I remember years ago when I was a young engineer and working third shift in what was then the new Argo Refinery. It was the middle of the night and a pipeline was flooding the Refinery. I radioed the Control Room saying it’s a line to nowhere. Suddenly from the heavens came a voice over the radio: “Roberta, the new Power House was testing lines today. They might have forgotten to close a valve.” I looked up beyond the pipes and thought: “How did Rich know I needed him right at the moment.” Later Noreen would tell me that Rich always kept the Refinery radio on his nightstand. That was Rich. Always there to take care of us. He was a very special person opening his heart and family to us and enriching our lives.

We met Rich on The Island on the Chain. Have many great memories of bonfires, boating, music & a few cocktails. Rich always talked about his wife Noreen who was the love of his life. He enjoyed having his sons & grandchildren at the lake. Flying his Polish & Irish flag. Now he is boating in Heaven with his (Baja). Boating with Noreen & his good friends Al & Joanne Reiner. RIP our friend

My deepest condolences to the Roleck family. Rich and I were work colleagues for years at the Argo Plant, where he was a key contributor to the plant’s continuous improvement in operations. We also spent many long evenings over the years playing poker, which I thoroughly enjoyed despite his constantly taking my money! He shared many fond thoughts of his loved ones during those evenings, and I know you have great memories of your times together. Again, so sorry for your loss.
