I can hardly believe that Richard Passed. What a gentle giant of a person. He was a wonderful husband to Georgette and wonderful father to his boys.. He was always pleasant when I would see him at family functions or at the store. May God accept him with open arms and give his children His Peace.

Cousin Rich would live with us (his Aunt and Uncle) many summers in Wausaukee, Wisconsin. I have known him since he was in grade school and even back then he showed a kindness and humor that was remarkable. When my father, his uncle, passed, he was especially sensitive and supportive. Though we did not get to see much of him in later years, he is and will be missed. Our prayers to Richey.

Rich has been a true friend and business partner from the day we met over 10 years ago - always there to help, a true professional, and completely goodhearted. I feel particularly blessed to have spent some of his last days working with him and I am honored to have been considered his friend. My sincerest sympathy to the family for the loss of such a wonderful person.

There are some people in this world that are bigger than life. In Rich's case his heart was bigger than life. I will never forget how he could warm up a room of people with his infections smile. He treated me like family and always encouraged me in our conversations. Rich will be remembered with a smile.Your family is in our prayers. Larry Hoing

Dan and Keary; Your dad was a friend of mine for a long time while we were in youth many years ago before we all grew up. We had many good times together. And lately, since we are now older, we were enjoying the seniors group at various gatherings. We have many fond memories of your dad. God speed with God's help.

I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Rich for more than 20 years. I can honestly say his cup was always half full. He was a very caring and giving person, was quick to laugh and always easy going and pleasant. Rich spent the last 20 years of his professional life working at improving other people’s work lives but I know his biggest joys in life were with his boys especially when there was a tight fishing line involved. I offer my heart felt and most sincere condolences to Rich's family and friends. Rest in peace my old friend you will be sorely missed.

Rich was a one of the most honest, hard working, respectable persons I have had the honor of knowing and being part of my life. He had the biggest heart and always made you feel welcome and at ease. A real pleasure to be around. I will always have many happy and fond memories of Rich.

Richard Schmidt was a dear family friend. His parents were always there for us when we visited the Brookfield Congregation and I enjoyed the time with them. Dan and Keary, your father was such a wonderful generous man. It was an honor to have known him and called him a close family friend. Our prayers are with you and your families.

I will miss the many conversations and words of advice from Rich over the years, both personal and business. We both had lost a lot of weight (I had gastric bypass) and we'd compare notes all the time. He was enjoying life and family so much more now and I would love to hear about his vacations and trips. He will be missed a lot. He was a good friend to us and many other people. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Rich and I joined Mainsaver about the same time. He always had a big smile; always give me a big hug when he visited the office. Our last company's user conference, I had to chance to sit at the same table with him; we chatted, drank wine and had a good time. I will miss those moments. It was a pleasure to work with Rich. He will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to Rich's family and friends. RIP Rich!

Rich was a big man with a big heart. He cared very much about his job, his friends and his family. He was always positive and I will never forget his thunderous voice and laughter. When I joined Mainsaver 13 years ago, he acted as my teacher and mentor. His legacy includes the hundreds of Mainsaver customers he helped to reach their goals. His colleages will never forget Rich.
