Raymond Lopez

This is so hard for me to write! Our hearts are heavy with sadness for Paulette and Bob and Frank Curtis and of course the whole Lopez family! Ray had that contagious smile. Ray you sure have a whole bunch of people who were not ready for you to leave! Please rest in peace and feel no more pain. I know you are up there singing in the Angels Choir!! Until we meet again rest easy!

Ray was an integral part of my childhood growing up in the Alcott neighborhood on the northside of Chicago. He and I formed the "Diamond Dynamites" a two-man team that played ledge or in some neighborhoods called "pinners" on the corner of Orchard and Shubert. No one could beat us.Years later at a recent visit to Ray and Paulettes home in Vegas we reminisced about those times and laughed. Thanks for the memories my friend, until we meet again. With deepest sympathies to Paulette and family.

So many memories, A good friend and neighbor since 1978. Our kids grew up together. We laughed, we cried, we shared so many good times together. We'll miss all of Ray's jokes and puns, he left us laughing to the point of tears at times. Our deepest sympathy to you Paulette, Carol, Paula and the whole family. Hugs to all. He will be missed.

Bob Clark condolence: I had the great pleasure of being Ray's friend since we were kids running around the old neighborhood and into adulthood. So many wonderful memories! My thoughts and prayers to Paulette and the Lopez family.

To Paulette & family, Ray & I were band m ates & also very good friends from our early music days. It is a sad day indeed to have to say goodbye to my friend! May Ray's memory forever be in our hearts & minds forevermore! MG "AMEN"
