Patricia Claus, nee Foley

My deepest sympathies and prayers to you and your family on your loss. I never worked with your Mom, but I did get a chance to meet her.I heard what a great supervisor she was at CCDOC. I'm sure she will be greatly missed by many. May you forever R.I.P Capt. Claus So sorry Shaun!

You were one of the Best, you trained me in the Academy in Div 6 and you were my Lieutenant in Div. 2 Midnights my Condolences to the Family! You also helped recommended me to your Doctor for my double knee replacements everything about you was Genuine! Thanks Captain Ole Skool Jailer for real R.I.P.

So sorry to hear this. Pat was always good to my family. Grams loved her like one of her own, as she did the rest of you. Grandpa Phil (a wonderful man as dear to me as if I knew him from birth) always bragged on his daughter. He was very proud of her accomplishments of making captain in the police department. We often heard about all of you kids' accomplishments through him--he was very proud of you all (I'm sorry if I never shared this sooner!)!! Shaun, my thoughts are with you during this time of grieving, it is a very difficult thing to lose a parent and even worse to have lost them both. I never visited with her that I once didnt hear the love about you pouring out. Love you all, Angela (Budd) Pennington and family.

My most sincere condolences to shaun and your family. Your mom was one of the best supervisors I have ever worked for during my career. She would answer every call and lead us into battle if necessary, over the years she became a very good friend as well. But, she always knew the line between the two,never a conflict. After I retired and developed all these health issues, she would always stay in touch, and helped me get through a rough time I had in January with the staph infection. I will miss her dearly and forever. Rest in Heaven dear friend until we meet again.

Shaun, I am sad to hear about the loss of your mom. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was a great lady and a fun basketball coach. We had such a wonderful time catching up at the SMM reunion. May she rest in peace!

Shawn.....you knew the love I had for your mom, my first captain. She was a soldier to the end. She fought hard to ensure you had a perfect wedding day. You have many great memories that will live on. You never stopped being her baby girl. Love you.

I remember Pat very well in my early years of teaching. She was a pleasure to know and had a such darling smile. May she Rest In Peace. She deserves it after all she did for so many people. I am so glad she got to walk you down the aisle on your very special day, Shaun.

Our deepest condolences. I have never in my career worked for a better supervisor. When Pat was at work we were a family and now we have lost a family member.. PAT YOU WILL BE MISSED AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!

My condolences and prayers to the family. Pat and I were in the academy together. I will always remember the first day she said in class that she had been a crossing guard working with the little ones and now she's ready to work with the older ones. She was a great person and someone I was proud to call my friend.

My deepest condolences to you, Shawnee and the family. I am sort of incapacitated from surgery but I am going to try to attend. You mom was really cool Sgt. at the County Hospital., which is where we met. We were truly like family over there with the holiday dinners and the overall comradely that we shared. Your mom taught me how to smoke a turkey on my grill and I’ve been doing ever since. I will truly miss her.
