Very deepest sympathies to all of Mike’s family and closest friends. He loved and was proud of you all. Mike, you were always THE party. I was so glad to have reconnected with you even if it was for way too short of a time. Hey, remember having to coat-hangar wire up the muffler on your Cutlass on the side of the Ike on the way to an Omladina performance at Navy Pier?...then crankin’ Stranglehold and still making it on time? What a blast Man. Rest in peace friend.

My heartfelt condolences to the LaConte family. I'm very saddened to have just heard of Mike's passing. Although we hadn't been in touch much since Mike left People's Gas, I thought of him often. We shared many experiences together as co-workers, some good, some bad, but I will always remember him for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was a lot of fun to work with and we'll all miss him dearly. RIP, Mike, my friend.

Prayers go out for Mike and the LaConte family. It’s been years since spending time with Mike and the guys, but many fond memories from 31st & East, Berwyn Pool, HS and Morton College! I never recall a time, that Mike didn’t bring fun and laughter to a gathering! Just a good hearted, fun loving guy! I’m saddened by this tragic loss. Memories, stories, and future get togethers will keep Mike in our hearts, and his rememberance on our minds! You won’t be forgotten! God bless!

Dearest Mike, You were someone who we thought would always be there. God had different plans. You were always a great father, a good son and someone willing to lend a hand.
