Caro Mario ( aka Silvano ) U'll miss our golf days even though you always beat me by at least 2 or 3 strokes. We'd laugh at some of our really bad shots, which were quite a few, and talk some Furlan. We'd finish our round with sone lunch and a tall glass of beer. Now, was that a good day ( except for the scores ) or what? Mandi cusin

Every encounter with Mario was filled with kindness and interesting conversation. I'll always remember the time I ran into he and Johanne at a Segovia concert in Chicago. The thought of him will continue to inspire me.

Dear Susan, Patti and David, All have lost something with the passing on of your Dad.From the time I met him when so many of us were living in our Grandparent's three flat at 1827 S. 50th Court in Cicero, I knew I had a friend. And of course he was a cool, no.. very cool guy who was a soldier and drove a monster green Buick (as did Grampa Joe).A Renaissance Man who was a joy to converse with.I am lucky to have him as my uncle. He will be missed. Your cousin, Joe Joe

My entire family remembers Mario with great love and affection. He and Johanne have been a lifelong inspiration to all of us for how to treat one another in this life. We are so very sad this virus has taken him...the consolation is that love does not die, and we can hold his memory close in our hearts. Maureen and Joe Collins, and Joe, Rachel, Meg, Tim and grandchildren Colin and Evie

Please accept my condolences on Mario's passing. I would have liked to offer it in person but, present conditions prevent that. I worked with Mario a very long time ago during the '70s at Motorola/Schaumburg and looked forward to seeing him every year at the Motorola Retirees Christmas party when we had it.

Judy and I both offer our condolences to Mario's family. We both worked with Mario at Motorola. What I remember that when all was chaos his was the quiet voice that set a tone. I always enjoyed talking with him at the retirement Christmas parties.
