Condolences
I've served for over ten years with Marie on the IRTA/WLSU Board of Directors, and during that time benefited often from Marie's hard work and planning of special events for retired teachers. She was not just energetic but also efficient and creative. A vibrant lovely lady who infused spirit into everything she did. We will miss you, Marie.

Marie was a fellow Morton West 1963 high school classmate, she lived in Indian Head Park (as do I) for a number of years and was on our high school reunion committee. She also taught math to my son at Lyons Township H.S. RIP Marie.....I was shocked to read this obit today. Sorry I didn't keep in better touch.

Marie was my very 1st mentor at LTHS. We spent many planning periods, well, planning for our Algebra classes, sharing ideas and enjoying laughs (and frustrations) of those kids these days. Whatever she did, she gave it her all, and was one of the most dependable person I've ever known. Godspeed, Marie. You are missed and your legacy has made such an impact on so many people (me being one of them).

As an LT retiree, I've known Marie for a long time and have served with her on the LT Retired Teachers group and the WLSU/IRTA Exec. Committee. We also golfed a few times. She enjoyed life to the fullest for as long as she could and will be missed by all that knew her.
