All of us who knew Jim at Nalco share your grief. Jim was intelligent, thoughtful, soft spoken, and kind. He was a fantastic scientist, and a great friend. I remember his big smile peeking out from behind a stack of chemistry journals. This sad news really hits hard. We miss him, and wish we could offer more than sympathy.
