Condolences
Ms Fekete was one of my high school teachers in Long Beach, CA. She was a credit to the profession. Her efforts helped me graduate from high school and get into the Army. I remember her saying she was from Connecticut. One of my tours during 30 years in the Army was at Ft. Drum. Her helping me graduate and seeing that I had clothing and shoes was one of God's tender mercies. I can understand why she was loved by so many. There is a special place in Heaven for people as good and kind as Ms.Fekete.

Bike on Aunt Gerry ♀️ This beautiful sentiment is how the celebration of life for Robert Fekete’s Aunt Gerry began. We took some time to spend in nature together after the service to examine the beauty of the world. We will miss her dearly and continue to honor her memory. It was so touching to meet her friends from the Elmhurst Bicycle Club Group. Call to love the nature all around us. We love you Aunt Gerry ❤️❤️❤️

Our deepest sympathy. Gerry was a great neighbor and friend. Gerry always kept an eye out for our son who came home by school bus while we were at work. She was there to help when he had a problem. Gerry’s love for gardening was a joy to her neighbors. Gerry and I traded many flowers back and forth. Gerry also introduced me to the Morton Arboretum volunteer program. Where I volunteer today. We will miss you very much Gerry.

So sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. She volunteered with us in the Morton Arboretum Plant Clinic for many years and it was always a pleasure to work with her.

When I first started riding, I rode many times with Gerry. I, also, did many self-contained trips with her, Combo of Bryce, Grand Canyon and Zion; Spring Green, Geneva, Twin Lakes, from Lombard to Boulder Junction just to name a few trips. It was always a pleasure to have her along! Of course, if we had any botany questions, she was the first person we turned to. I regret not making it over to see her while she resided at Park Place. One always thinks there is time ......... I am glad to have had lunch with her after her recovery from her fall in Busse Woods.......
