Condolences
Well, it’s been a year now since Davin left for his final gig. As a longtime family friend , I knew Davin as a good kid and then a real nice young man! He’s gone, but memory of him isn’t.

I am very sad to hear of Davin's passing. Davin was one of my first orchestra 'beginners' when I began my teaching career in School District 102. He always had a smile and was such a nice young student. He did very well with violin, and though it wasn't his calling, I believe it led him in some way to his love of playing the harmonica, in which he came back as a young man and played harmonica as a guest performer with the junior high in which he attended. Although I hadn't seen Davin since then I, am glad our last meeting together was one where he was in his element doing what he loved to do. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Deeply saddened by this loss. He was a great guy, I remember our regular chats in the machine shop office fondly. My heart goes out to Amy, Jeff, and the rest of his family and loved ones. We'll miss you Davin.

I have a lot of fond memories from our childhood, and even after we drifted as adults, I always thought Davin was one of the coolest people I knew. I can't count how many times we cracked open our windows and just listened to him play all night. He will be missed.

Davin was special. He felt wiser beyond his years, even in junior high. He will be missed. I always enjoyed seeing him hone his craft while playing music in his younger years. My prayers are with him and his family and the people who he cared about.

Davin was in my support group at Wellness House. He was an amazing warrior. He went through so much and never lost his sense of caring and empathy for others. I loved hearing about him padding and how much he loved it. I was devastated hearing the news about Davin passing but I have to say I immediately got an image him grinning from ear to ear in a specialized boat with no pain and in the perfect body of water for paddling and I was happy for him. I will really miss Davin and I hope that he will live on forever in all our thoughts. Prayers and hugs to his family. Carole
