Dear Rich, Tom, Tony and Families, I , like my brother Lou, remember your father, Al, most vividly from the WAITKUS family picnics. I have no children of my own. But your dad always made time to speak with me and make me feel welcome and important. I appreciated this very much. Your mom was always a friend as well. I miss her and now will miss him. May knowing others care bring you comfort in this time of loss. God bless you now and always. Christine Davis GUAGENTI

Dear Rich, Tom, Tony and families, We are most grateful for the memories of your outstanding father, Al, made over a period of 40 years. It was at the Waitkus family picnic at the Isaac Walton League in Homewood Flossmoor every June that we would visit with him and Julie. Over the years, we saw his beautiful family grow. He would update us on the studies and work of his fine, intelligent sons. We were happy to introduce him to our growing family too. His grandchildren were always enthusiastic participants in the kiddie games at the picnic (Claire and John take part now). Al embodied the finest virtues: faith, love of family, patriotism, spirit of service, and an abiding sense of gratitude, to name a few. His personal example enriched our lives and those of the Waitkus clan. And he will continue to inspire many for years to come. May he rest in the peace of Christ and may you, his dear family, know God's consolation. With sincere condolences, Lou and Gladys Davis
