Mildred “Millie” M. Slezak, nee Hurt, age 91, of Brookfield, formerly Berwyn and Westchester. Beloved wife of the late Charles Slezak; fond mother of Diane (Dana) Slezak – Havranek and Charlene (Jim Nosek) Slezak; dear grandmother of Carly Havranek. She and Charlie owned Manor Hardware in Cicero for 20 Years, she was a long time aide to Judy Baar Topinka and active in Cicero Rotary, Berwyn Cicero Council on Aging (Now Solutions for Care), Cicero Boys Club, Sequin RCA and others. Visitation Friday, April 7, 2017 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Saturday, April 8, 2017, 10:30 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Saturday 11 A.M.
