My Dear Cousin-In-Law Gordon, I could stare at this photo of your father for hours. Your dad’s deep and warm brown eyes, the expression on his face, that slight smile–all convey a man who lived a long and satisfying life. My heart is happy that he lived long enough to know his grandchildren as adults as that’s one of life’s biggest joys. May his memory always be a blessing to you and the family. Mike was a good friend to us when we all went to Faith Lutheran Church in Brookfield. He was a quiet personality but very warm and sincere when you got to know him. Always a smile and handshake. May God bless him and his family. Jim Sporleder.
