Mary T. Smith, nee Colosseo, age 83 of LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of James H. Smith for over 50 years. Loving daughter of the late Vito and Caterina Colosseo, dear cousin of Mary (Roy) Maranto, Joseph (Rella) Colosseo, cousins in Italy: Anna, Terina and Pina; Godmother to Vera Marino, Teresa Thode, Sergio Maranto, Silvia Pasquini and Jeffery Thode; lifelong friends of Linda and Nick Campagna and Terry and Ernie Herzog and many more deeply loved family and friends.

Visitation Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Friday, July 29, 2022 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.. Funeral 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, Corner of 30th & Raymond, LaGrange Park. Mass 10 A.M.

Mary was a devout Catholic, dedicating much of her life to helping others. She was a Minister of Care at St. Louise de Marillac Church; a Recovery leader; driver for Interfaith Partners for 12 years. She also enjoyed Card Club for over 30 years, SCAT Club, providing meals as needed for people and especially baking her delicious Italian cookies to share with so many.

Entombment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
