We are saddened to learn of Mrs. Fitzhugh’s passing but are comforted by the knowledge that she is now with God and far beyond the reach of pain and sorrow.

It was our privilege to have met Mary and her close friend Carol on a cruise many years ago and have been in touch ever since. Even when she was not well Mary met us when we came to Chicago not too long ago to welcome us to her fair city.
Mary was a genuine and lovely person who truly will be missed.

My deepest condolences for our loss. While I only got to know Maryellen a few years ago, she has been such a treasured friend. I have been so deeply blessed to have known her and while I will miss her, I am grateful she rests with God in joy. My love and thoughts surround Tracy and the rest of the family and hope they take some comfort in the gift she is to everyone.
