I never got the chance to meet Mary, but I was very fortunate to have met George through my dad Gerald. My father and George served together in Vietnam and had remained friends up until my dad’s passing in September 2021. I also lost my mother in August of 2021. George and I have kept in contact since and he has been keeping me informed on Mary’s health. She seemed to be such a loving and caring person. She loved her family dearly. My heart goes out to all of you at this very difficult time.
