Dear Grandma,
You will be greatly missed. I’m so thankful for all the years we shared. I can never thank you enough for all the wisdom you’ve shared and the love you showed. I know you’ve missed Grandpa so much these years and you probably were talking to Jesus to surprise Grandpa for his birthday on Sunday when you left us on Friday to plan for a surprise birthday for him. I feel honored to have held your hand one last time till Christ took your other hand to lead you home. Till we see each other one day, you will be missed and your memories cherished. Love you grandma.
Your grandson,
Michael

Dear Grandma,
The next time I see you, take me to the zoo in heaven. Perhaps we’ll pack sandwiches and a picnic blanket, I know we’ll have a great time! We’ll see the monkeys and the penguins, who knows what animals God has for us in heaven! There’s no hurry, but oh how I look forward to that day.
Maybe after that we can bake cookies and play a board game. All I know is there won’t be any tears or pain, God promises! Until then, God has work for me still to do here on earth.
I remember you doing your Bible study every morning and listening to Christian radio, and how you enjoyed your Bible group and attending and helping at the church, pure joy! I’ll miss you often and will remember you fondly until we’re reunited, because we both know Jesus and we have that hope. Until then, God will hold us, comfort us, and tend to our hearts. I love you.
Love always,
Your granddaughter
Thank you for your example of faith and generous love! So many years of good memories of time spent together will last forever. I’m comforted knowing that you are rejoicing in heaven with friends and family.
